Peanut's story

Every afternoon, Peanut would pick up the fox from preschool. That day it rained heavily, the wind blew from all directions, and Peanut was wearing the thinnest paper mask ever. After a few steps, the rain hit with a “splash,” the mask was soaked and slipped down to the chin, torn and looking like a used paper towel… reused for the third time.

The fox ran over, eyes wide and then burst out laughing:
“Mom, your mask is melting over there!”

Peanut was so frustrated, trembling and grumbling:
“I wish mom had a sturdier mask, one that could withstand rain and wind…”

That night, the fox saw mom sulking for a long time, so it decided to “save mom by itself.” It pulled out a tiny toolkit, sawing and carving, serious like a 3-and-a-half-year-old craftsman.

When it was time to finish, the fox happily brought it out to show off:
“Mom! I made you a new mask!”

Peanut looked down and was stunned.

Peanut swallowed hard:
