Peanut's story

One leisurely afternoon in the small rental house, Peanut, the Fox, and Soju decided to make food trays.

Peanut, both drawing and declaring: “I will make a round wooden tray, named Bánh Dày — symbolizing the sky, because in this house I am the creator of the kids!”

The fox is serious, saw in hand: “I will make a square wooden tray, named Bánh Chưng — symbolizing the earth, because I am of the Earth element, enduring everything… even the snoring of Peanut.”

Hearing that, Soju chuckled: “You two are just saying that for show, but you really don't know how to make other shapes, right? I made a fish-shaped tray, named it Finny, because I’m a Pisces — born to swim, not to measure square or round.”
