"Chummy" is a mini wooden vase handcrafted from mu u driftwood – small, sturdy, and rustic. Its round shape is warm like a small jug in an old garden, bringing a familiar and peaceful feeling to any table corner.

Peanut's story

Back then, every time she returned to her hometown for summer vacation, Peanut was forced to go crab and snail hunting. She hated the muddy water terribly, and crabs had huge claws, but even if she caught some, she surely wouldn't have the courage to bring them home.

So one morning, instead of following her to the fields, Peanut sneaked into the ceramic jar in the yard to take a good nap. She said it was very cool inside, hearing the whispering wind, no one scolded her, and there were no leeches lurking around her fair calves.

Later, she made a vase similar to that jar – called “Chummy” – to stick a few branches of flowers whenever the boss pushed her with deadlines. Poor thing, the vase is tiny, but every day Peanut insists on bringing it out to stick flowers in...
